WHY WE STAND OUT? 25+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE AND AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE

Silicon Valley Skydiving founders Ronaldo and Vitor started their skydiving career in 1996 when both were still teenagers. (Yes, in the 90s we were allowed to jump in our teens). Since this time, they have both been involved with skydiving, teaching new jumpers and participating in record-breaking jumps and world parachute championships.

UNDERSTANDING THE DECISION FACTORS

USPA is the United States Parachute Association:

During the process of deciding about your skydiving, you should ONLY consider a USPA Member drop zone. USPA affiliated drop zones are committed to a comprehensive list of safety recommendations. This assures that the skydiving operation is performed according to the highest safety standards available. If you want to know more about skydiving and these safety standards, visit uspa.org.

Skydiving Reviews:

This is by the best indicator about the overall service quality of a place. True reviews from real customers delivers the most candid and sincere opinions about a skydiving experience. Check here what customers have been saying about us. Those are words and stars from people like you, once wondering about going skydiving for the first time.

Skydive Training Center Badge:

Even if you’re not interested in becoming a certified skydiver, that doesn’t mean that you should overlook on a drop zone. When a skydiving place is not a Certified Training Center, most likely they are what we call ‘Tandem Skydiving Factory’. Jumping at a Tandem Factory can be just as safe as jumping on a Certified Training Center. Although, it will affect the overall quality of your experience. Only at a USPA Training Center you will experience the whole and real skydiving. It’s a place where you’ll be able to actually see other people skydiving near you. You will probably see a wingsuiter flying out right after you, or a solo student just graduating, or taking the first solo jump.

Driving Distance:

This one doesn’t impact your skydiving experience directly, but ‘skydiving near me’ is one of the most searched terms related to first time skydive. Ok we get it, everyone like a little convenience, but think twice before choosing your skydiving based on distance. Santa Cruz and Monterey weather are quite tricky. You may spend more time waiting on a wind hold or weather to clear, than driving to a place with a more reliable weather.

Skydiving Price:

Going for the less expensive skydiving pricing doesn’t necessarily mean that it is going to be less safe. Although everything related to skydiving and aviation is really expensive, so maintaining a $1.5M dollar airplane a fleet of $15K parachutes isn’t cheap. Operators that choose that low price route will definitely struggle more to keep the necessary maintenance schedule. Let’s compare your jump to a commercial flight. You may not feel unsafe when you have to fly a low-cost airline, but you will certainly feel the low-cost service. If all you’re looking for is to get from here to there, that might not be a problem. But when you’re expecting to have a life changing travel experience, a low cost just won’t be enough, even if you fly first class.
